Muslims who are able-bodied and have the financial
means whereas Umrah is highly recommended, although not compulsory for Muslims.
There is no minimum age to do both.
An Umrah that is accepted by Allah will result in the expiation of sins
InshaAllah.
A Hajj that is accepted by Allah will result in the individual’s sins
being extinguished and the person would be
elevated to the level of purity, just like a newborn baby that carries no sins InshaAllah.
The Umrah is not compulsory but highly recommended while the Hajj is
only compulsory for Muslims who are able-bodied and
have the financial means.
That is a bonus from Allah. However, Umrah is not compulsory even if one
can afford it but Hajj is.
